Artist's Comments

I spent several days illustrating this one.....another self portrait of myself, this time in the process of illustrating. This is the two-dimensional version. I am currently splitting this up into three layers and box framing with each layer about a half-inch apart from each other. So far it's working out....maybe I'll post a photo when it's all done and over with. ....and if you haven't seen his work yet, I will again stress that all you deviants should check out our fellow deviant by the name of "kle"......his graphite pieces are drooling material......haven't seen any others on this site that compare. Funny how hard it is to find non-digital pieces of work these days.....one day it will make a comeback. until then.........enjoy. pencil, pen, paper....love.

Super super good idea and execution of thought. I have never said this about ANYONE elses art but my own...and I ALWAYS said that if I got a tattoo it would be my own work (which is still true), but I dunno...get a few beers among other things in me and I think I might be able to get this one as a tattoo...that's how much respect I have for it. That might not sound like much...but hey...you don't know me. =) (Smile)
